What are the Different Payment Types?
Bank Account with Instant Verification: this is the fastest and easiest way to set up bank payments for your trip. Search for your bank on the list, then enter your login credentials. The 3rd party provider of this security feature is called "Plaid" this service will instantly authenticate your account.
If you cannot find your banking institution, you need to use Bank Account with Manual Verification or a Credit Card.
Bank Account with Manual Verification: instead of instant verification we can verify your account using two micro-deposits. Micro-deposits are two small deposits of less than a dollar that is deposited automatically within 3 business days. It's your job, to log into your online bank and find these micro-deposits, then come back to GroupCollect.com and enter those micro-deposit amounts on our payment screen.
Note: this manual verification process MUST be completed within 5 days or the deposits disappear and you have to start the process over from the beginning. Do not forget to check the bank you added as the billing source within 3 days of starting the verification process.
Credit or Bank Card: We accept all major bank cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.
Check Payment: Check payments are only accepted if your trip leader has allowed this. So first please check with your trip leader. Sometimes, tour operators using online billing do not accept check payments. The funds will be applied manually to your account once the check is received.
