How Do I Make My First Trip Payment?

Congrats! You're registering for your trip and now it's time to make your first trip payment. Currently, we offer multiple payment methods such as connecting directly with your checking account or paying with a credit card.

For some trips, in order to reserve your seat, you'll need to make the first payment. This is usually referred to as your trip "deposit". For trips that are set up this way, you'll be prompted to connect a payment method and make your first payment near the end of the registration process when you arrive at the Choose payment method screen.


You'll see there are currently multiple options:

  1. US bank account: this is how you connect directly to a checking account
  2. Card: this is how you pay with a credit card

Steps for using a bank account:

  1. Enter the full name of the bank account owner.
  2. Enter the name of your banking institution (i.e.: Wells Fargo or Bank of America) and select it from the drop-down list (if your bank isn't listed, don't stress!)
  3. Click the Save button

Next, you'll see a pop-up screen that shows information about the payment processor this platform uses: Stripe. Click the Agree and continue button to proceed.

Select one of your eligible bank accounts and proceed to the payment screen.

Next, you'll see the Checkout page. You'll be prompted to pay the amount your tour operator or travel coordinator has indicated as the deposit, which is necessary to reserve your seat. Once you have reviewed and are ready to execute the transaction, click the Pay button to proceed.

Next, you' ll see the Payment receipt page. Review the information and click Done to return back to the trip dashboard.

NOTE: the highlighted segment near the bottom of the screen is how this transaction will show on your bank statement. This is to familiarize users with how the transaction will appear and prevent disputed transactions.

You will also receive an email with the same information for your records.


Steps For Paying With A Credit Card

You also have the option of paying with a credit card. All major credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc. This process is easy to navigate and very similar to paying with your bank account.


  1. Enter full name of the card holder
  2. Select Card payment method
  3. Enter the card number, Expiration, CVC, Country, and Zip
  4. Click "Save"

Next, you'll see the Checkout page. You'll be prompted to pay the amount your tour operator or travel coordinator has indicated as the deposit, which is necessary to reserve your seat. Once you have reviewed and are ready to execute the transaction, click the Pay button to proceed.

Next, you' ll see the Payment receipt page. Review the information and click the Done button to return back to the trip dashboard.

You've done it! You've successfully made your first payment and should be set with a seat on this trip. Review your payment timeline from the passenger dashboard to confirm your previous and upcoming payments, and start preparing for that trip of a lifetime!
