Configuring ACH and Convenience Fees for your Account or an Individual Trip

When collecting payments from passengers, you have the choice of charging a convenience fee, offering a discount, or providing no incentive on each transaction a passenger makes.

It's easy to configure this setting on an account level as well as on the trip level if there's a trip you'd like to incentivize or charge differently than the rest of your trips.

Editing the Fee Structure On The Account Level (Affects All Trips)

From the trip dashboard, click on Settings in the right-hand corner.

On the Payment Settings page, click on Payments in the left-hand column.

At the bottom of the Payment Settings page, you'll see the Bank Transfer Incentives section:

You can choose one of three options: No Incentive, Bank Transfer Discount, or Credit Card Fee:

CREDIT CARD FEE: Select this option and then enter the fee (as a percentage) that the passenger will be charged for the convenience of using a credit card.

BANK TRANSFER DISCOUNT: Select this option and then enter the discount (as a percentage) that you will give a passenger if they pay via bank transfer(ACH).

NO INCENTIVE: Select this option and leave the Fee/Discount Percentage window blank if there is no fee or discount applied to passenger payments.

Editing Fee Structure On The Trip Level (Affects One Trip Only)

When configuring a new trip, you can toggle the fee structure by clicking on the "Payments" option on the left-hand column:

Review the details of this section. This now reminds you of your Account setting default (affects all trips), and if you want to edit the Trip Setting, select "Trip Setting":

After clicking, you can create a Custom Trip Setting to offer a custom fee structure for a single trip:

Upon saving, you'll be redirected to the Configure Trip page and now you can see the fee structure setting change that has been confirmed for an individual trip.
