How Do I Invite A Trip Leader To A Trip?

From your trip dashboard, click Trip Leaders.

Then click Invite Trip Leader

Fill in the requested information about the trip leader to be invited:

  1. First name
  2. Last name
  3. Email
  4. Whether they are traveling or not/if they will be comped or not
  5. Click Invite Trip Leader to send them a customized invitation email

After sending the invitation, you'll see the trip leader you just invited will be in the Trip Leader Invites section. This means their invitation has been sent but has yet to be accepted. The details of the invitation will be listed, and there will be an option to revoke the invitation.

What Your Trip Leaders Will See: If They're Traveling

If your trip leader will be traveling, they will receive an invitation email that looks like this. To proceed, they must click the Accept button within the email.

Important Notes

If your trip leader is selected as a comp and decides to add additional passengers during registration, they will still be asked to make a deposit payment for those additional people.

If your trip leader accepts the invite but does not complete registration, they will show up on your dashboard as having missing information.

What Your Trip Leaders Will See: If They Are NOT Traveling

If your trip leader is not traveling with the group, they will receive an invitation email that looks like this. To proceed, they must click the Accept button within the email.

If they click on the Travel tab at the top of the page, they will be shown the option to register for the trip. This is where they would click if they decided to join the group.

The trip leader who is not traveling will not show up in your passenger count. You will only see their name under the Trip Leaders tab on the left.
