The cancellation page has recently been updated so it's easier to use than ever before. This article will give you a rundown of what's new so you can leverage the new features to their maximum potential.

More Explanations In The Sidebar

The cancellation page now features more explainer text on the left side margin, exactly where you need it. Have a question about what each particular section means? Look no further than half an inch to your left for an answer!

Big, Bold, & Beautiful Math Figures 

Next, when you look in the center of the page, you'll see the figures you've input on display in a grand fashion. They're now larger than ever so there's more transparency on how estimated refund amounts are calculated.

Convenience Fees Now Rolled Into 'Total Amount Paid'

Also for the sake of transparency, the amount a traveler has paid in convenience fees is now listed in the middle section so you can see how much that has contributed toward the traveler's total amount paid. However, the convenience fee is also listed in the section below and classified as 'Non-refundable' so you know how it factors into a potential refund situation. 

Want To Refund Convenience Fees? Here's How:

You can still totally refund a traveler's convenience fees if the situation calls for it though. Here are the steps: 

1. Set 'non-refundable' amount to $0

2. Uncheck 'Convenience fees are non-refundable' box

3. Watch the recalculation magic!

Learn What's Next With Trip Protection

You may have questions about what will happen next with a traveler's trip protection situation after they cancel. Now the cancellation page will take the information that has been input and use it to generate a statement on what could potentially transpire next with this traveler's trip protection claim after cancellation. 

The statement on trip protection will also include a potential max amount that could be reclaimed by the traveler as well. 

Be aware though, the statement on trip protection will adjust in real-time depending on what is input in the top section. Therefore, it's recommended the top section always be completed first so you can see the most accurate statement on trip protection down below.
