What is Trip Protection?
When you register for a trip, you have to enter information, answer questions, and make choices before the registration process is complete. If your trip offers trip protection, one of the choices you will need to make is whether or not you want to purchase that protection. Trip protection protects the money that is paid for the trip.
We recommend that passengers choose to protect their travel investment with trip protection. We offer trip protection from our partner Trip Mate.
There are three options: Standard Protection, Enhanced Protection, and Decline Protection. You have to choose one of these options to complete your registration. Please read the description of each one carefully before making your choice:
- If you choose Standard or Enhanced Protection, the cost will be added to your deposit and will need to be paid in full before your spot on the trip is reserved.
- The cost of trip protection is a percentage of the package price.
- The cost of trip protection is non-refundable.
